Two of these are jewelry that keeps its metal value and two are jewelry that keeps only its design value. The site labels every product, but the labels sit in the description, and the vermeil and solid versions of a design look identical in photographs. Check the material line before the price.
What the gold is worth in the price
Mejuri does not list gram weights, so the metal share has to be estimated from typical weights for the size of piece. The point of the exercise is not to catch anyone out; it is to see which line is paying for gold and which is paying for a name.

The pattern is the one that matters: the solid pieces carry a meaningful, resellable fraction of their price in metal, roughly a third to a half for plain heavy designs and less for delicate ones, which is in line with well-known direct-to-consumer brands and better than mall jewelers. The vermeil pieces carry almost none, so at $138 to $238 they are priced as fashion jewelry with a good finish, which is what they are.
How the vermeil holds up
Mejuri's vermeil is specified better than most: 2.5 microns is the US legal minimum for the word and roughly five times ordinary plating, the base is sterling rather than brass, and the palladium barrier slows the silver from tarnishing through the gold. That buys time, not permanence. The company's own care page says vermeil tarnishes with air, moisture and sulfur, recommends dry cloth cleaning and anti-tarnish storage, and its warranty page lists fading, tarnish and water damage as normal wear outside coverage. In practice a vermeil ring worn daily shows the silver at the palm side within a year; hoops and pendants last years. Policies that matter

Where it is not
Heavy chains and bold pieces in vermeil. The look of a 20 gram gold chain for $238 is the look only; the metal is silver, the layer wears at the clasp and where the chain rests, and the warranty does not cover it when it does. A solid chain of that visual weight costs several thousand dollars anywhere, which is why the vermeil version exists, but a thin solid 14k chain at a few hundred dollars is the honest alternative for daily wear. Also not: white gold if you have a nickel allergy, unless the alloy is confirmed nickel-free, and anything you plan to resize elsewhere, because of the warranty clause.
